Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for removing a jet regulator (1) from a fixture outlet (2), to a jet regulator (1), and to a set consisting of a jet regulator (1) and a tool (6). The jet regulator (1) has a housing (3) and a latching element (4) which is movably mounted on the housing (3). The latching element (4) can be adjusted by means of a force transmission from a spring element (5) which is arranged within a recess of the housing (3) and can be accessed from outside of the fixture outlet (2) onto the latching element (4). The latching element (4) protrudes beyond the housing (3) in the rest position in order to hold the jet regulator (1) in the fixture outlet (2), wherein a tool (6) is inserted into the fixture outlet (2) in an insertion direction (7) for removal purposes, and the spring element (5) is acted upon by the tool (6) during the insertion process until the latching element (4) releases the jet regulator (1).
