Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing 2-alkyl anthracene, comprising the following step: separating 2-alkyl anthracene from a reaction product of an anthracene alkylation reaction, the anthracene alkylation reaction being a reaction of anthracene and an alkylation agent under an alkylation condition in presence of an alkylation reaction solvent and a catalyst, wherein the reaction product of the anthracene alkylation reaction comprises anthracene and a series of alkyl anthracene products comprising 2-alkyl anthracene, and preferably, the alkyl is C4-C7 alkyl.
