Abstract:
Provided is a method whereby a target cyclic macrolide compound can be separated without using a silver compound even from a mixture that contains a compound having a double bond similar to the target cyclic macrolide compound.
The method for separating a cyclic macrolide compound from a mixture, said mixture containing the cyclic macrolide compound together with one or more kinds of analogous compounds thereof, is characterized in that the mixture is subjected to silica gel column chromatography wherein an asymmetry identifying agent is fixed to the silica gel.
