Abstract:

An objective of the present invention is to selectively separate, as a double-bond-comprising hydrocarbon compound in which all hydrogen atoms have been substituted with fluorine atoms or chlorine atoms, a straight-chain compound from a raw material containing a straight-chain compound and an alicyclic compound. The present invention is a method for separating a double-bond-comprising straight-chain hydrocarbon in which all hydrogen atoms have been substituted with fluorine atoms or chlorine atoms, the method being characterized in that: a raw material, containing a double-bond-comprising straight-chain hydrocarbon in which all hydrogen atoms have been substituted with fluorine atoms or chlorine atoms and a double-bond-comprising alicyclic hydrocarbon in which all hydrogen atoms have been substituted with fluorine atoms or chlorine atoms, is brought into contact with at least one type of amine compound selected from the group consisting of tertiary amines represented by the formula NR1R2R3 (wherein R1, R2, and R3 are each independently an alkyl group, two of which may optionally together form an alkylene group optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom) and heterocyclic aromatic amine compounds.
