Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for eluting a prokaryotic protein. In the present invention, a protein can be obtained in the intact form with no damages thereto by destructing cell walls of bacteria through a simple process of adding an organic solvent including a lower alcohol or a nitrile derivative to a sample including pathogenic bacteria, etc. or applying an osmotic stimulus to the sample. The present invention can be advantageously used for rapidly and accurately identifying periplasmic proteins of, among others, Gram-negative bacteria without additional purification processes.
