Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for separating a polybutene, comprising the steps of: (1) injecting, into a distillation column, a polybutene solution having a viscosity, measured by means of a rotational viscometer at 25°C, of 1-50 cp while comprising a polybutene, a halogenated hydrocarbon solvent and a nonpolar hydrocarbon solvent; (2) separating the halogenated hydrocarbon solvent and the nonpolar hydrocarbon solvent at the upper part of the distillation column, and separating, at the lower part thereof, a polybutene solution having a viscosity of 10-150 cp while comprising the polybutene and the nonpolar hydrocarbon solvent; and (3) separating the nonpolar hydrocarbon solvent and the polybutene from the polybutene solution separated at the lower part of the distillation column in step (2).
