Abstract:
The inventive method relates to a method designed to detect shots from images from cameras that are cheap and light. Accordingly, the incoming image is subjected to three separate series of procedures and the results are assessed to produce a warning. The first test is the process step of the sudden change in temperature detection filter. The second test comprises the steps of frame differencing [103], disc filter [104], normalisation [105], thresholding [106], and SMFD [107], The third test is based on the step of frame differencing [103], disc filter [104], and thresholding. Then, an interdependent component analysis [108] is conducted, and presented to the user as the shot detection result [109]. Thus, it is possible to conduct a reliable shot detection in low resolution images.
