Abstract:
Provided are a method for suppressing the progress of corrosion in an air conditioner, an air conditioner, and a refrigerant pipe, which have an excellent corrosion progress suppression effect particularly on ant nest corrosion in a refrigerant pipe in an air conditioner equipped with an indoor unit having a heat exchanger that uses a refrigerant pipe comprising copper or a copper alloy. In the method for suppressing the progress of corrosion in an air conditioner equipped with an indoor unit having an indoor heat exchanger that uses a refrigerant pipe comprising copper or a copper alloy, when the air conditioner is operated a moisture removal operation, in which moisture present within corrosion holes generated in the refrigerant pipe is removed, is carried out after a cooling operation or a dehumidification operation has ended.
