Abstract:

A method of surface treating a rolling roll through such steps that patterns covered with a hardened photosensitive resin composition are formed only on the required parts of said surface and said hardened composition is peeled off after the non-covered parts of said surface are chemically corroded, in which , as said composition, a visible-light-hardened photosensitive resin composition is used and hardened with irridiation of visible rays of light thereonto.
