Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of the production of fine chemicals, and disclosed is a method for synthesizing a sun-screening agent intermediate terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid, comprising the following steps: dissolving DL-camphorsulfonic acid and organic alkali into a first solvent and adding a catalyst to obtain a reaction system; dissolving terephthalaldehyde in a second solvent to obtain a terephthalaldehyde solution; mixing the terephthalaldehyde solution with the reaction system to generate a precipitate, then heating and stirring; once the precipitate is dispersed, cooling and filtering the precipitate, rinsing, and drying to obtain a terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid crude product. According to described the method, the production of EKS is converted from a simple production mode to a production-conserving and environmentally friendly production mode.
