Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to synthesize a zirconium complex by making even a low concentration of 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid (DOTA) react with radioactive zirconium at a high reaction rate. A mixed solution, obtained by finally mixing zirconium dissolved in an acidic solution into a solution in which a solution containing 40-95 vol% of an organic substance having water miscibility is mixed with a compound containing a chelating agent represented by DOTA, etc., is heated to a prescribed temperature of 35°C or higher to thereby synthesize a zirconium complex. The acidic solution is a hydrochloric acid, and the organic substance is methanol or ethanol.
