Abstract:
The present invention provides a system for automatically controlling a camera of a self-driving vehicle, comprising: a camera installed on a vehicle and used for capturing video; a processor configured to process said video so as to determine the error of the position and/or angle of said camera; a drive device which is connected to the camera and which drives the camera to change position and/or angle according to said error. Thus the present invention solves the problem of movement of a vehicle for a long period of time causing image and initial calibration inconsistency. The video captured by the camera is used for determining error, and is ultimately used for adjusting the position and/or angle of the camera, thus achieving true closed-loop control.
