Abstract:

A method and system for double-sided printing. The method comprises: pre-determining a geometric difference between a first printed image printed on a first side of a printing material on the basis of a first original and a second printed image to be printed on a second side of the printing material on the basis of a second original (101); and adjusting the second original according to the geometric difference so as to align the first printed image with the second printed image (102). The described double-sided printing method and system may comprehensively determine an alignment error between the front and back side images of the printing material, and may promptly adjust the printing of the second side according to the alignment error, thereby improving the alignment accuracy of the front and back sides.
