Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a method and a system for identifying a hand sliding direction. The method comprises the steps: using a series of event data from a dynamic vision sensor to generate at least one time plane image, the events being triggered by the relative motion of an object in the field of view and the dynamic vision sensor; identifying a hand posture from the time plane image; when the identified hand posture is a predetermined gesture, entering a hand sliding identification state; in the hand sliding identification state, determining effective pixels indicating hand sliding from the corresponding time plane image; and, on the basis of the determined effective pixels, determining a hand sliding direction. Also disclosed in the present invention are a corresponding computing device and smart device.
