Description:
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATED PERSONAL

CARE ECOSYSTEM

BACKGROUND

Technical Field of Invention

[001] The embodiments herein generally relates to a personal care system and particularly relates to a method and system for an integrated personal care ecosystem. The embodiments herein more particularly relates to a method for providing effective care to the care recipient with a plurality of remote care provider and local support providers as part of the personal care ecosystem.

Description of Related Art

[002] There are some people who are not fully independent (called as care recipient) (e.g. elderly, recovering patients, children, young students). They require to be provided what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance and protection through relevant care, support and / or supervision. The loving ones or care provider is not able to effectively provide the relevant care since they might not always be in physical proximity to the care recipient or because the care is required to be provided for long duration. The care provider requires support of local support providers for regular care. There might also be dependence on external service providers (e.g. licensed practitioners), connected devices (e.g. temperature monitor) and or connected computer readable code (e.g. accelerometer sensing computer readable code). As is evident above, there is a need plurality of providers as part of an entire eco system to provider effective care by the care provider to the care recipient. The objective of current innovation is to create a method and system to integrate the personal care ecosystem though applicable computer readable code, software and tools to provide effective care to the care recipient.

[003] One of the prior arts discloses a medical care management system having a database of patient information including medical history records, comprising a medical record input apparatus; a medical record storage apparatus; a medical record viewing apparatus; a means for automatically scrolling the medical record being displayed by the medical record viewing apparatus; and a comment input apparatus receiving comments from a user of the system relating to the medical record being displayed, and inputting the comments into the medical records storage apparatus linked to the medical record being displayed. The system can further comprise a patient information input information apparatus; and linking means for linking the patient information to at least one stored medical record.

[004] However, the prior arts are limited to area of application such as for child monitoring and patient monitoring. Further, the prior arts ensure an effective monitoring of a care recipient but are limited in extending a support in effective manner when required. Further, the prior arts ensure healthcare but are limited in extending a support for personal welfare, protection, safety etc. in effective manner when required. Also, the priors vastly rely on cellular communications for monitoring and responding to a care related situation, thus making them a less robust system for effective care provision.

[005] One of the prior arts discloses a monitoring and early response system allowing a constant monitoring of a health of a care recipient and further raising an alert to respective authorities in case of an attention required or emergency. The focus of prior art is about devices and system for monitoring and managing early response in case of emergency.

[006] However, the prior arts are limited to area of early response. Further the prior art is about devices and system for monitoring and managing early response in case of emergency but is limed to the dedicated device and is costlier than using a suite of computer readable code that can be used on most of the smart phone.

[007] In the view of the foregoing, there is a need for a method and a system for monitoring and managing a care recipient requirement through an integrated ecosystem. Also, there is a need for a robust method and system of communication between a care recipient, care provider, support provider and service provider. Further there is a need for a generic method and system implementable for various sections of care recipient including an infant, an elderly, a patient, a student, a female an employee or any dependent. Further, there is a need for a method and a system for managing alerts generated and timely response relationship between a care recipient and a care or a service or a support provider respectively.

[008] The above-mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.
