Abstract:

A method and system for manufacturing a shingled solar cell and manufacturing a shingled photovoltaic assembly. The method involves, during a cell production process, online cutting and splitting, and testing and sorting small sheets to complete the packaging of small sheets of a cell; and during an assembly production process, shingled sheets can be directly assembled after receiving small cell sheets for unpacking. The method can realize seamless docking of a production and processing process of a shingled solar cell sheet and a shingled photovoltaic assembly, reduces repetitive machining operations, reduces splitting risk and cost, and can optimize current matching and appearance color consistency of a cell small sheet in a shingled photovoltaic assembly.
