Abstract:
The invention relates to radio communication technology and can be used for transmitting signals from stationary transceivers and mobile subscribers in mines, pits, tunnels and other linearly extended sites. The technical result is an increase in the maximum range of mobile radio communication with the use of a minimal quantity of stationary transceivers capable of serving as base stations. For this purpose, a radio communication method consists in that the area of action of a communication system is delimited by a two-wire transmission line, within which mobile subscribers with transceivers are located. For communication, use is made of electromagnetic waves, the length of which is much greater than the width of mine workings and tunnels. The communication system consists of transceivers and two- or three-wire communication lines, each conductor of which is arranged on opposite walls of a section of a mine working or tunnel. To enable communication through rock formations, the system is supplemented by control devices which are arranged along the transmission line and have a relay and antennas which are connected to the transmission line upon a command from a stationary transceiver.
