Abstract:
A system and method, for prioritizing notifications in an electronic device is disclosed. The novel method provides dynamic categorization of one or more notifications received at an electronic device, via a categorization module. The notifications are categorized into one or more pre-defined categories. Thereafter the one or more notifications and said associated pre-defined categories are stored at a memory unit. Further a priority to each of said stored notifications is assigned based on at least one of said associated pre-defined categories and one or more usage parameters. After said assigning of priority, the method further displays via a display module, said one or more notifications based on said assigned priority.
