Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for protecting a GIL-overhead hybrid line, the GIL-overhead hybrid line consisting of a GIL line segment and overhead line segments disposed at two ends of the GIL line segment. Two sides of the GIL line segment are provided with GIL line protection apparatuses and GIL line far-tripping apparatuses at the same time, and two sides of the entire hybrid line are provided with hybrid line protection apparatuses and hybrid line far-tripping apparatuses at the same time. When a fault occurs on the GIL line segment, the GIL line protection apparatuses send trip signals to the hybrid line far-tripping apparatuses on the corresponding sides by means of the GIL line far-tripping apparatuses on the corresponding sides. When the hybrid line far-tripping apparatuses receive the trip signals, same carry out tripping and send closed-loop reclosing signals to the hybrid line protection apparatuses. Therefore, the described protection means is applied to a GIL-overhead hybrid line, is capable of meeting the requirements of the GIL-overhead hybrid line, and reliably protect the GIL-overhead hybrid line.
