Abstract:
A method and a system for selecting an optimal edge computing node in an Internet of Vehicles environment. The method comprises: acquiring and analyzing attributes of vehicle computation tasks in an Internet of Vehicles environment; acquiring and analyzing attributes of different edge computing nodes; calculating a degree of matching between the attributes of the computation tasks and the attributes of the nodes; analyzing computation requirements of different tasks, and weighting the degrees of matching of different categories; and selecting, as the optimal node, the node of which the sum of products of the degrees of matching and the weights is the largest, and using the optimal node as the optimal edge computing node to compute the vehicle computation tasks. The method achieves rapid matching between attributes of vehicle computation tasks and attributes of nodes in an Internet of Vehicles environment, and rapidly selects the optimal edge computing node of the vehicle computation tasks according to different computation requirements and matching results, increasing computing efficiency, and saving computing resources of nodes while satisfying computation requirements.
