Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of Internet of Things (IoT). Disclosed is a method and a system for time synchronization between an access node and a convergence unit in IoT, the method comprising: an access node periodically sending a first data packet to a filtering gateway; the filtering gateway forwarding the first data packet to the convergence unit according to access node address information contained in the first data packet; the convergence unit receiving the first data packet and returning a second data packet; the filtering gateway forwarding the second data packet to the access node according to access node address information contained in the second data packet; the access node receiving the second data packet, calculating the time compensation value between the access node and the convergence unit according to a first sending time point of the first data packet, a first receiving time point of the first data packet, a second sending time point of the second data packet, and a second receiving time point of the second data packet, and adjusting the time of the access node according to the time compensation value. This invention is used for time synchronization between an access node and the convergence unit in IoT.
