Abstract:
The present application provides a method for transmitting data and a communication apparatus, so as to shorten the duration for a terminal device to perform idle channel evaluation, for example, in the scenarios such as assisted driving or an advanced driving assistance system, intelligent driving, intelligent network-connected driving, and data transmission performance can further be improved. The method comprises: a first terminal device obtains information of a first resource pool and information of a second resource pool, a resource in the first resource pool being a resource allocated by a network device for the terminal device, and a resource in the second resource pool being a resource obtained by the terminal device by means of the idle channel evaluation, and the first resource pool and the second resource pool being not overlapped; the first terminal device sends first data to a second terminal device by using a first resource in the first resource pool, the first resource being the resource allocated by the network device; and/or the first terminal device sends second data to a third terminal device by using a second resource in the second resource pool, the second resource being the resource obtained by means of the idle channel evaluation.
