Abstract:
The present application provides a method for transmitting data and a network device. The method comprises: a first network device sends request information to a second network device; the first network device receives authorization information from the second network device, the authorization information comprising a first serial number; the first network device determines a first credit line according to the first serial number, the first credit line being the volume of data that can be sent by the first network device in a packet distribution load sharing mode; and the first network device sends data to the second network device according to the first credit line. In the technical solution, the first network device determines, according to the authorization information of the second network device, the volume of data that can be sent in a packet distribution load sharing mode, so as to send data to the second network device according to the volume of data, which can avoid that the volume of data sent exceeds the volume of data that can be cached and sorted by the second network device, thereby avoiding sending data packets from the second network device out of order.
