Abstract:
A method for transporting large-diameter over-long HDPE pipelines from land into water. After pipelines are welded in a welding area and concrete is poured into ballast blocks, an on-shore side construction platform directly rolls the pipelines to a water surface of a base groove. Said method greatly shortens a transportation distance, ensures that the pipelines do not collide with the installed pipe sections during transportation, and has a low production cost and high operability.
