Abstract:
Provided by the present application are a method for upgrading vehicle software and a related system, which are used to carry out control strategies such as querying, downloading, and upgrading reminders of a vehicle software version to be upgraded without obtaining the position of the vehicle. The main idea is as follows: when software of a vehicle needs to be upgraded, the vehicle will determine its own current position, and determine whether the vehicle is within a rescue range of each service site (the position and rescue range of each service site may be issued by a cloud server or stored by the vehicle); thereafter, the vehicle sends information comprising the determination result and the version of the software currently installed in the vehicle to a cloud server; on the basis of the obtained information, the cloud server determines to push to the vehicle an installation package type corresponding to the software version; and then the vehicle determines how to upgrade according to the obtained installation package type. Compared to traditional software upgrade methods, the real-time position of the vehicle will not be leaked. At the same time, the cloud server will return the installation package type according to the difference of the determination result, and the method is flexible.
