Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for using a computerized two-needle flat-bed knitting machine to knit a two-sided ridged jacquard knitted fabric. A computerized two-needle flat-bed knitting machine is used to knit a two-sided ridged jacquard pattern having two colors A and B. A yarn (A) and a yarn (B) have different diameters. The yarn (A) of the color A has a large yarn count, and the yarn (B) of the color B has a small yarn count. Knitting density is configured. A two stage stitch employs tight and loose kinking, and kink depths of the yarn (A) and the yarn (B) are respectively controlled by means of a needle cam, so as to respectively adjust knitting rows corresponding to the yarn (A) and the yarn (B) to fall within different kink value ranges. Different knitting row numbers of the yarn (A) and the yarn (B) are configured. The invention forms two-sided ridged jacquard knitted fabric, and ridges on both sides are formed in a single knitting action.
