Abstract:
Provided is a microfluidic device wherein a valve for a fluid control has an improved structure that is simpler and more efficient, and thus can be manipulated more easily and effectively. To this end, the microfluidic device comprises: a platform including at least one chamber; at least one channel connected to the chamber such that a fluid is transferred therethrough; and a valve for opening/closing the channel, wherein the valve comprises: a body installed on the platform; a blocking plate installed on the body and contacting the channel to selectively block the channel; a pressing rod moveably installed inside the body so as to press the blocking plate; and a fixing portion installed in the body so as to fix the pressing rod at a blocking plate pressing position.
