Abstract:
The millable-type silicone rubber composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing (A) 100 parts by mass of an organopolysiloxane which is represented by an average composition formula (1), which has a degree of polymerization of 100 or more, and in which the contained amount of low molecular weight siloxanes having a degree of polymerization of 10 or less and being contained as impurities is less than 1,000 ppm, (B) 5-100 parts by mass of a treated silica which has a hydrophobicity of 40 or more and which is treated with a vinyl group-containing alkoxy silane and/or a vinyl group-containing organosilazane, and (C) an effective amount of a curing agent. Accordingly, provided is a millable-type silicone rubber composition from which it is possible to obtain a silicone rubber cured product which has a small compression set, which exhibits less change in the degree of plasticity of a silicone rubber compound, and in which the total of low molecular weight siloxane components having a degree of polymerization of 10 or less is less than 1,000 ppm.
