Abstract:
A mobile crane (Z) having, with an extension jib (4) attached to the top of a telescopic boom (3), a device with which the maximum value of lifting loads can be increased by absorbing a part or the whole of longitudinal and lateral bending moment acting on the entire extension jib (4) and telescopic boom (3). More particularly, the mobile crane (Z) has, with the extension jib (4) attached to a telescopic boom top section (30), masts (36, 37) arranged on the extension jib (4), inclined relative to a boom elevation plane, and has tension members (39, 40) extended in the longitudinal direction of the extension jib (4), connected to the top sections of the masts, and of the telescopic boom (3). Inclinations of the masts (36, 37) are selected so that a part or the whole of longitudinal and lateral moment acting on the extension jib (4) and the telescopic boom (3) is absorbed.
