Provided are a mobile terminal and an antenna radiation method for a mobile terminal, relating to the technical field of wireless communication. The mobile terminal comprises a frame used as an antenna, wherein the frame is provided with a feed point; an antenna stand positioned in the frame; a first metal sheet positioned on the antenna stand, wherein the first metal sheet is connected to the feed point; and a second metal sheet positioned on the antenna stand, wherein there is a gap between the second metal sheet and the first metal sheet, and the second metal sheet is coupled, via the gap, to the first metal sheet for feeding. By means of the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet being arranged on the antenna stand, the first metal sheet being connected to the feed point on the frame, there being a gap between the second metal sheet and the first metal sheet, and the second metal sheet being coupled, via the gap, to the first metal sheet for feeding, the second metal sheet radiates electromagnetic waves; furthermore, the radiation capacity of the second metal sheet can be stabilized by means of coupled feeding, such that the mobile terminal can support more frequency bands.
