Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and provides a mobile terminal comprising: a main body, which includes a rear surface and side surfaces formed from end parts of the rear surface toward a front surface, and is made of a metal material; a lower end cap detachable from a lower end of the main body and exposed to the outside so as to operate as a radiation body of an antenna device; a nonmetal member formed between the main body and the lower end cap so as to form a slot by allowing the main body and the lower end cap to be spaced; and a separation member, which is formed across the nonmetal member, electrically connects the main body and the lower end cap so as to divide a region in which an electric field is formed, and divides the slot into first and second slots, wherein the antenna device comprises: a first antenna for forming an electric field by the first slot, of which one side is open and the other side is closed by the separation member, so as to resonate in a first frequency band; and a second antenna for forming an electric field by the second slot, of which one side is open and the other side is closed by the separation member, so as to resonate in a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, the first and second antenna devices comprise a power supply unit, which is connected to a main circuit board provided inside the main body and respectively forms the electric fields in the first and second slots, the lower end cap comprises: a first member exposed to the front surface of the terminal; a second member exposed to the rear surface of the terminal; and a connection part for connecting end parts of the first and second members, and the second member and the connection part are made of a metal material.
