Title:
MODIFICATION METHOD AND ANALYSIS METHOD FOR MIXTURE CONTAINING TRIFLUOROSULFANYL AROMATIC COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/186331
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a modification method for a mixture containing a trifluorosulfanyl aromatic compound and a fluorosulfinyl aromatic compound, wherein one or both of these compounds are converted into derivatives. Provided is a method for modifying a mixture that contains: a trifluorosulfanyl aromatic compound represented by general formula (1): Ar-SF3 (Ar denotes a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group); and a fluorosulfinyl aromatic compound represented by general formula (2): Ar-SOF (Ar denotes a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group). The method includes an amidation step in which the mixture is subjected to a reaction with a primary or secondary amine represented by general formula (A): R1R2NH (R1 denotes an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, and R2 denotes a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms), thereby converting the fluorosulfinyl aromatic compound into a sulfinamide compound represented by general formula (3): Ar-SONR1R2 (the definitions of Ar, R1 and R2 are as described above).
