Abstract:

The present invention relates to modified taurine, and a pharmaceutical composition or food composition, containing the same as an active ingredient, for preventing or treating metabolic diseases. More specifically, the modified taurine of the present invention, which has different physical features from the existing taurine, has a remarkable effect of preventing and treating metabolic syndromes, including an antithrombotic effect.
