Abstract:
Provided is a mold degassing device with which it is possible to reduce the likelihood of particulate matter penetrating between a valve stem and an insertion hole. A mold degassing device (10, 40, 50) is provided with an inflow passage (11, 41, 51), a discharge passage (12), a communicating passage (13), a valve device (30) for opening and closing the communicating passage (13), and a gas-flow adjusting unit for adjusting a gas flow, wherein: an insertion hole (32d) into which a valve stem (31) of the valve device (30) is inserted is provided in a wall surface that forms the communicating passage (13); and the gas-flow adjusting unit is disposed on the inflow passage (11, 41, 51) side of the insertion hole (32d), and generates a gas flow having a direction of rotation about an axis (C) during discharge of gas.
