Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a mold release film for molding of a ceramic green sheet, which has excellent releasability and is not likely to cause pin hole defects and damage such as cracks during releasing on an ultrathin ceramic green sheet that is molded with use of the mold release film.
[Solution] A mold release film for the production of a ceramic green sheet, which is obtained by superposing a mold release layer having a thickness of 0.2-3.5 μm on at least one surface of a polyester film directly or with another layer being interposed therebetween, and which is configured such that the surface of the mold release layer has a local surface roughness (Sa) of 5-40 nm and a maximum profile peak height (Rp) of 60 nm or less.
