Abstract:
A mold for a U-shaped composite product (6) having a deep cavity and a super-thick wall, comprising an upper mold cavity (1), a lower mold cavity (2), a side-pulling sliding insert (3), and an auxiliary mold locking structure (4). The auxiliary mold locking structure (4) comprises a first auxiliary mold locking insert (401) and a second auxiliary mold locking insert (402); the first auxiliary mold locking insert (401) is fixed on the lower mold cavity (2), and the second auxiliary mold locking insert (402) is fixed on the side-pulling sliding insert (3). The side-pulling sliding insert (3) is located on one side of the upper mold cavity (1) and the lower mold cavity (2) after the upper mold cavity (1) and the lower mold cavity (2) are combined, and slides along the longitudinal direction of the lower mold cavity (2); and the formed product (6) is located among the upper mold cavity (1), the lower mold cavity (2), and the side-pulling sliding insert (3). The mold for the composite product (6) having the deep cavity and the super-thick wall overcomes the difficulty in mold closing, and the formed product has a uniform wall thickness, a smooth surface and no step. A thin-walled splicing structure solves the problem of poor product surface quality due to an excessive wall thickness and uneven heat transfer of a mold for a deep-cavity product. The auxiliary mold locking structure (4) solves the problem that a mold insert is easy to tilt due to an excessive height and the problem that the mold is difficult to close due to a too small manual mold closing force.
