Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a molten-salt type heat medium which has a high heat-resistance temperature and is usable in a wide temperature range, a method for using the molten-salt type heat medium, and a solar heat utilization system using the molten-salt type heat medium. This molten-salt type heat medium comprises a carbonate mixture comprising 12-40 mol% potassium carbonate, 20-40 mol% sodium carbonate, and 25-55 mol% lithium carbonate. The method for using the molten-salt type heat medium comprises heating the molten-salt type heat medium, supplying the molten-salt type heat medium to a heat utilization part through a pipeline which communicates, in terms of fluid passing, with the heating part, and using the heat supplied by the molten-salt type heat medium, in the heat utilization part.
