Abstract:
A monitoring camera (11) comprises: a dome cover (13); an imaging unit (29) disposed inside the dome cover (13) and having a lens (35); an illuminating unit (31) disposed inside the dome cover (13); and a light-shield unit (33) disposed between the illuminating unit (31) and the lens (35) on an inclined surface opposing the dome cover (13), the light-shield unit (33) suppressing reflected light (87) due to light emitted from the illuminating unit (31) being reflected by the dome cover (13) and then entering the lens (35). The light-shield unit (33) is spaced apart from the dome cover (13).
