Abstract:
A monitoring device for the service life of an elevator component, comprising: a warning light (1) provided on the top of an elevator cab (100) and capable of displaying different colors; and a control device (3) provided on the top of the elevator cab (100) and suitable for controlling the display color of the warning light (1). The control device (3) wirelessly communicates with an elevator remote server, and is capable of obtaining the predetermined service life and actual use time information of the elevator component from the elevator remote server. When the obtained actual use time of the elevator component reaches or exceeds the predetermined service life thereof, the control device (3) controls the warning light (1) to display a first color so that the maintenance staff can intuitively determine, according to the color displayed by the warning light (1), whether the actual use time of the elevator component reaches or exceeds the predetermined service life thereof so as to ensure that an expired elevator component can be exchanged timely to improve the safety of an elevator.
