Abstract:
A monitoring method and device for an elevator trap fault. The method comprises: by means of a preset data collection device (03), collecting an elevator control signal from a serial interface between an elevator controller (01) and a control box (02), wherein the elevator control signal comprises an elevator inner calling signal, an elevator operating signal and an elevator door control signal; monitoring whether an elevator has an opening fault according to the elevator operating signal and the elevator door control signal; when an opening fault of the elevator is detected, determining whether there is a passenger in the elevator according to the elevator inner calling signal; and if there is a passenger in the elevator, determining that the elevator has an elevator trap fault. By means of collecting an elevator control signal from a serial interface between an elevator controller and a control box, according to the collected elevator control signals, an elevator trap fault can be accurately detected the first time, extra installation of a sensor or a monitoring device is not needed, and the usage cost is relatively low.
