Abstract:
The present invention sets the range in which an object to be monitored is monitored to an appropriate range. A monitoring system (1) comprises a work machine (10) that can be automatically driven, a work plan setting unit (31), a monitoring range setting unit (41), an object-to-be-monitored detection unit (43), and an entry determination unit (45). The work plan setting unit (31) sets a work plan for the work machine (10). The monitoring range setting unit (41) sets a first monitoring range (A1) around the work machine (10) on the basis of the work plan. The object-to-be-monitored detection unit (43) detects an object (O) to be monitored around the work machine (10). The entry determination unit (45) determines whether the object (O) to be monitored has entered the first monitoring range (A1).
