Abstract:
A mooring line tension control system (1) includes: a drum (3) around which a mooring line is to be wound; and a control device (7) for controlling a motor (22) for rotating the drum (3), a band brake (4), and a clutch (24). A load cell (40) for measuring a band tension is built into the band brake (4). The control device (7) calculates a tension of the mooring line at the time of mooring on the basis of the band tension measured by the load cell (40). When the calculated tension of the mooring line exceeds a set value, the control device (7) unwinds the mooring line from the drum (3) by switching the band brake 4 to an open state, and then winds the mooring line around the drum (3) by switching the clutch (24) to an engaged state and driving the motor (22).
