Abstract:
This motor apparatus is provided with: a motor (42); a magnetic joint (44); and a control device (45, 101, 102). The motor drives rotation by receiving a driving current (Im). The magnetic joint (44) includes a motor-side driving rotor (63) and a load-side driven rotor (65) which are magnetically coupled to each other in a non-contact manner, and transmits drive from the motor side to the load side. The control device (45, 101, 102) performs motor driving control by means of the driving current through detection of the driving current supplied to the motor. The control device includes a current detection unit (103) that detects the driving current. The control device detects, from the driving current, phase deviation (Δθ) which is generated between the driving rotor and the driven rotor of the magnetic joint and which has a correlation with the driving current. The driving control of the motor includes detection of the phase deviation.
