Abstract:
This motor control device, which controls a brushless motor for causing an oscillation movement of a wiper arm, is provided with: a position detection unit which detects the rotational position of a rotor; and a control unit which, in a low output mode in which the output of the brushless motor is low, allows sine wave drive of the brushless motor and which, in a high output mode in which the output is higher than that in the low output mode, sets an energization angle to be greater than 120°, and energizes the brushless motor at a timing advanced, by a predetermined electrical angle, relative to the rotational position of the rotor.
