Provided is a motor grader which can avoid an engine stall without degrading the operation feeling during a low-speed running.  The motor grader includes: an engine, a torque converter, driving wheels, an engine rpm detection unit, and a control unit.  The torque converter has a lockup clutch for transmitting a drive force from the engine.  The driving wheels are rotated and driven by the drive force from the engine.  The engine rpm detection unit detects an engine rpm.  The control unit performs control as follows.  When the lockup clutch is in a connected state, the connection state is maintained if the engine rpm is greater than a predetermined lockup release rpm which is smaller than a low idle rpm and the lockup clutch is switched to an open state when the engine rpm is reduced to the lockup release rpm.
