Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a motor comprising a stator having a stator core and a coil, a rotor rotatably positioned on the inside of the stator, and a mold resin covering the stator. The coil has coil ends protruding on both sides in an axial center direction from the stator core. A first non-combustible material cover is mounted to an outer peripheral surface of the mold resin so as to surround one of the coil ends along a circumferential direction. A plurality of mount legs are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the mold resin along the circumferential direction. A circumferential groove is formed in a root portion of each of the plurality of mount legs, the root portion connected to the outer peripheral surface of the mold resin, wherein the circumferential groove extends along the circumferential direction and opens on both sides in the circumferential direction and on one side in the axial center direction. The end on one side, in the axial center direction, of the first non-combustible material cover is disposed inside the circumferential grooves of the plurality of mount legs. With the motor of the present disclosure, it is possible to prevent fire or smoke from escaping from the motor, without modifying the position of the mount legs.
