Abstract:
A motor (1) of an embodiment comprises a rotor (3) and a stator (2). The stator (2) comprises a plurality of segments (23). The segments (23) comprise a plurality of pieces (23a) coupled with each other via a coupling portion (23b). The plurality of pieces (23a) are arranged in an arc shape, and the plurality of segments (23) are arranged in an annular shape. The coupling portion (23b) has: a first recessed portion (23b-a); a pair of facing surfaces (23b-c) having one ends continuing to both sides of the first recessed portion (23b-a); and a pair of facing portions (23b-d) provided at the other ends of the pair of facing surfaces (23b-c). The distance between the pair of facing surfaces (23b-c) decreases from the first recessed portion (23b-a) to the pair of facing portions (23b-d).
