Abstract:
A mounting type composite component (10) having an ESD protection function is provided with a mounting type inductor (20) and a thin film component (30). The mounting type inductor (20) has: an element body (200); a first external conductor (211) and a second external conductor (212) that are formed individually at respective ends in a first direction of the element body (200); and a third external conductor (213) that is formed at an intermediate point in the first direction of the element body (200). The thin film component (30) has: a flat plate-like element body (300); an ESD protection element (330) that is formed in the element body (300); a first terminal conductor (311) that is connected to the ESD protection element (330) and formed on the surface of the element body (300); and a second terminal conductor (312) that is connected to the ESD protection element (330) and formed on the surface of the element body (300). The first terminal conductor (311) is connected to the first external conductor (211), and the second terminal conductor (312) is connected to the third external conductor (213).
