Abstract:
This multi-color gravure rotary press comprises: an L-shaped arrangement printing unit group (50) in which a plurality of printing units (12a-12g) are aligned and arranged in an L-shape in plan view; an inversion roller (54) that is provided near the outside of a bent section of the L-shaped arrangement of the L-shaped arrangement printing unit group (50); and non-traveling industrial robots (16,18) that are provided near the inside of the bent section of the L-shaped arrangement of the L-shaped arrangement printing unit group (50), the robots having circular handling areas (P,Q) and replacing a plate cylinder (14) of the printing units (12a-12g) by chucking and handling the plate cylinder (14). The L-shaped arrangement printing unit group (50) is disposed in the handling areas (P,Q) of the non-traveling industrial robots (16,18), and the plate cylinder (14) that is set in the printing units (12a-12g) is replaced by the non-traveling industrial robots (16,18).
