Abstract:
Provided is a multi-optical-axis photoelectric sensor capable of reporting completion of optical axis alignment of the multi-optical-axis photoelectric sensor in an easy-to-understand manner and allowing and optical axis alignment to be completed in a small amount of time. The multi-optical-axis photoelectric sensor is provided with: multiple light-projecting elements (11) disposed in line in a light projector 1; multiple light-receiving elements (12) disposed in line in a light receiver (2) and respectively paired with the multiple light-projecting elements (11); at least one ABI (12) disposed in each of the light projector (1) and the light receiver (2) for each of at least two groups of light-emitting and light-projecting elements, the groups of light-emitting and light-projecting elements each constituting a group which is a pairing of a light-projecting element (11) and light-receiving element (21) among the multiple light-projecting elements (11) and the multiple light-receiving elements (21); and a control circuit (260) having an optical axis alignment mode and a normal lighting mode and performing control such that the ABIs (12) demonstrate different lighting patterns when in the optical axis alignment mode and when in the normal lighting mode.
